The General Data Protection Regulation requires us to have active consent to the use of personal data in planning and running the festival. Until now consent has been implicit when entrants submit our Entry Forms but now these forms will include an opt-in clause which must be agreed to (signed and dated) before the entry can be accepted.
Our Festival maintains an offline list of those participating. Clearly this is necessary in order to run the festival. No personal information, however obtained, is disclosed to third parties without explicit permission from the person to whom it relates unless such disclosure is required in order for the festival to fulfil its constitutional purpose. Participants may contact us at any time to request sight of, an update to, or the complete removal of their data. The Tudor Rose Festival does not have a mailing list and does not send bulk emails.
