The 2026 syllabus

To be issued on 13 June 2026, by email to schools and then attached here.

Festival dates are:  26, 27, September, 3, 4, 10, 11, 17 & 18 October (4 weekends)

Welcome to the 2026 Tudor Rose Festival.  We are very aware of the time restraints regarding the All England Dance Finals this year so ask that you enter as soon as possible (see below for the dates for entry). Here is our Syllabus for 2026.  Festival Connect is the method we use for entries.  The Entries will be open at 12 noon on Sunday 12 July 2026 for priority entries – please do not try to access this beforehand.  All other entries can be accessed from 12 noon on 15 July 2026.  The closing date will be 31 July 2026 or when capacity has been reached.

Can we please mention the following for your information:

  • Please ensure that the music is recorded on MP3 or .WAV (we know that the system supports these formats).

  • Please pay attention to the syllabus as, although this year is not a qualifier for All England Dance, we do follow their procedures.  At the end of the syllabus, we have listed the All England Dance Genre Descriptors, which gives you the information required for each style.

  • Please ensure  you are aware of the sizes of group entries when entering your groups.

  • Schools must provide their own licenced chaperones for groups – 1 per 12 dancers.

  • Private Entries: It is extremely important that you check if your school is entering before making your entry. If there are more than 2 private entries from 1 school, they all need to be entered under 1 account.

Schools, in the first instance, will be restricted to 75 entries and solos to 5 per dancer.  If you exceed this number, you will be sent an email to inform you that you have done so and the extra entries will be deleted.  A reserve list will be created once all entries are in.

Once we know how many entries we are dealing with, we will then decide whether we can open up to receive more entries or we will have reached capacity well before the closing date of 31 July.  Entries must be paid for by 31 July, after which time unpaid entries will be deleted.  If you try to enter but find that you are unable to as the system is full, please email us (tudorrosefestival@gmail.com) and we will place you on a reserve list (this will be first come first serve).

We hope this is clear.  If you have any questions regarding the entries, please contact Festival Connect directly – info@festivalconnect.co.uk  If you have any other questions, please contact us on tudorrosefestival@gmail.com
