The 2024 syllabus will be available in June 2024.

Dates are:  21, 22, 28, 29 September, 5, 6, 12 & 13 October (4 weekends)

We use Festival Connect for entries.  The Entries will be open at 12 noon on the date to be confirmed.

 

Please remember that Festival Connect is still quite new to us, as well as fairly new to you.  We will aim to support you as much as possible throughout the process.

 

Can we please mention the following for your information:

• Please do not enter anyone if you know they may have an alternative event during the four weekends.  Missing dancers really cost us in lost time and revenue.

• Please ensure that the music is recorded on MP3 or .WAV (we know that the system supports these formats).

• Please pay attention to the syllabus as All England Dance have made changes to some of the genres.  Pay special attention to items like Modern Ballet and Contemporary as these are two different styles.  Also, Lyrical and Jazz / Modern are two different styles.  At the end of the syllabus we have listed the All England Genre Descriptors, which gives you the information required for each style (although 2024 is not an All England Dance regional qualifier).

• There are new Group sections so please ensure that you are aware of this when entering your groups.

Schools, in the first instance, will be restricted to 100 entries.  If you exceed this number, you will be sent an email to inform you that you have done so and the extra entries will be deleted.

 

Once we know how many entries we are dealing with we will then decide whether we can open up to receive more entries or we will have reached capacity well before the closing date of 16 July.  Entries must be paid for by 16 July, after which time unpaid entries will be deleted.  If you try to enter but find that you are unable to as the system is full, please email us (tudorrosefestival@gmail.com) and we will place you on a reserve list (this will be first come first serve).
